Release of Benchmarking and Best Practices Reports

The release of the Global Implementation Report of the Benchmarking Framework and the Best Practices Report marks significant progress in quality assurance for online higher education. The Global Implementation Report details the 2023 implementation cycle, featuring universities such as Asia e University (Malaysia), Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (UAE), North-West University (South Africa), Open University Malaysia, Open University of China, Saudi e University (KSA), Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico), University of the Philippines Open University, Universitas Terbuka (Indonesia), and Western Caspian University (Azerbaijan). This report outlines processes, outcomes, and quality improvements in online education, using quantitative indicators for evaluation and comparison.

The Best Practices Report, based on exchanges from December 2023 to April 2024, emphasizes continuous improvement and international collaboration. It promotes knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of cooperation and enabling institutions to learn from successful strategies. The report aims to drive global impact, enhancing the quality of higher education in the digital age.
